Farm to Table Dinner - Braised Lamb Shanks View Event Details

Join us at the winery as the celebration of Spring continues with our own grass-fed pasture raised heritage lamb. Matt Smith from Blue Valley gardens will be our highlighted producer this week with his tasty asparagus. Slow braised lamb shanks will be our featured dish this evening preceded by an early spring salad and pasta with asparagus. Our artisan cheese board will follow the main course and we will end the evening with a cream biscuit with rhubarb compote and mascarpone whipped cream.

Join us as we center our farm to table dinner around Pasture Patterns Eggs from Prairie Bluff Farm. Spring fresh salad greens are here so the evening will start with endive salad with Campo di Bella pork lardons and a poached Patterns Egg. A traditional spaghetti carbonara will precede the main course of chicken Marsala with roasted potatoes. Vanilla custard with rhubarb compote will complete the evening after our artisan cheese board.

We welcome our friends from Gentle Breeze Honey to the winery once again for a feast centered around Spring and honey. Start the evening with a honey tasting followed by Ricotta with honey and French Tarragon. Our main course will be roasted chicken with honey, orange, rosemary and endive. Warm Brie with almonds and honey will precede our dessert finale of profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and you guessed it - honey.

Join us at the winery for our summer farm-to-table dinner series. We will welcome Rob and Erin from Hilltop Farm back to the winery to celebrate summar currants. Our featured course will be roasted pork belly with cannellini beans, hooks blue and a currant reduction. A currant berry panna cotta will follow our artisan cheese board.
